buying, auditing and checking
Ultimately, we supply customers with branded product – a vast range of product. It would be impossible for all of these to be manufactured by us. Therefore, when taking buying decisions on behalf of customers many things are taken into consideration. The balance needed to be made between quality and price is never compromised by ethics. We are guardians of customer’s brands and this is taken seriously. Our scale though allows us to buy most competitively on behalf of our customers.

vendor management

Working with customers across many sectors with hugely differing needs requires us to have an extensive supplier base. Where possible we will consolidate spend through long-term, trusted suppliers. However, we also recognise the need to constantly be aware of new suppliers and products in the market place to ensure our customers receive the best possible quality and price.

ethical auditing go

We deliver products to our customers. Where these are made, by whom and under what conditions are vital to our customers, both individually and for the businesses they represent. The process with which we approach our stance on ethical auditing has been refined by over 30 years of experience and an understanding of best practice. It is our people who carry out our audits – their priorities are our customers’ priorities. We contractually agree our ethical obligations with our customers and share our processes and results. We are never complacent, constantly learning from the experiences of ourselves, our suppliers and our customers.

inspections

Knowing many of our products are being shipped directly from manufacturers to customers commits us to ensuring the quality of the products leaving the production line matches with the agreed samples produced. This involves, Initial Factory Inspections (IFI), During Production Inspections (DPI) and Final Random Inspections (FRI). Again all of these processes are carried out by our people, working on our customers behalf.

scale

Size matters. It’s certainly not everything but it gives us an advantage in the competitive, cost conscious environment of today.
